Amphibious excavators, also named in swamp excavators, marsh excavators, marsh buggies or swamp buggies, are multi-functional excavators that can be applicable to many special fields, e.g. soft terrian, marshlands or shallow water areas etc. They could complete many dredging works that normal crawler excavators are hard to complete, such as water area treatment, environmental management, stream channels dredging of civil works, reinforcement of beach cofferdam, excavation of fish ponds, capital construction of farmland irrigation and water conservancy etc.
